"Varcolac is the name the Romani use to refer to this terrifying creature, its howls echoing through the night and into the nightmares of all the people of Venice" The Varcolac is a mighty beast, with the speed and ferocity that the Strigoi utilise. When it strikes, its prey has no time to react with its claws cutting deep and piercing even the finest armour. The Varcolac gains its real power when the moon is at its brightest, but for all its strength it is a mindless animal that cares little for its own defence. It's sad to think this beast was once a man.
