Castell

Castell is a diverse folk tradition in Catalonia, where people gather at festivals to build human towers up to 10 people high! In this strategy game, each player leads a Colla (a Castell team), traveling throughout Catalonia to recruit new Castellers, train new skills, and hold regional performances. Or they participate in the numerous festivals held in the various regions. But the festivals have specific requirements for the Castellers employed - one region wants to see Castellers of size 10, other regions prefer smaller Castellers of size 4 or 5. Those who do not have suitable Castellers in their Colla should recruit them quickly. And those who have many Castellers but cannot form a tower should train additional skills. According to the Castellers' motto: Força, Equilibri, Valor i Seny, which means Strength, Balance, Courage, and Wisdom. Castell is a game for puzzle lovers. With the given basic rules, it is hardly possible to build sophisticated pyramids. But during the game, players deliberately acquire abilities that allow them to gradually overcome the building restrictions. The perfect pyramid construction becomes a puzzle for advanced players.
