This economic city builder is very satisfying. The expansion material that can be mixed in and out offers infinite replayability and challenges. I really love trying further restrictions to my hospital, and there is often many areas to think about at once. The components are beautiful, unique and often adorable, while it is especially good at 2 and 3 player counts. Updated 12/03/22 from 9 to 10 after impeccable extensions 2, 3, 5 arrived. This game makes me giddy with it’s variability, it’s layers and it’s (possibility for) complexity. The campaign book is neatly designed and I have enjoyed all the medium mixtures tried so far. Just beautifully designed - a must try!

Description
Your Town Center is flourishing, but as the city grows, the need for emergency medical care grows with it. Fortunately, you and your business partners have the wherewithal to build a clinic to help those in need of more than first aid. You quickly get a pre-admissions facility built to help process and route the different cases into the appropriate queues. Unfortunately, just before groundbreaking, your differing views of the ideal clinic cause a schism between you, and you go your separate ways, with patients already lining up in pre-admissions. Each of you decides to build the clinic of your dreams, trying to hire doctors, nurses, and maintenance staff, and build new modules, specialized services, and even parking, in order to meet the needs of the patients ailing in pre-admissions. Perfecrt game, just like Theme Hospital, it has a lot of funny things in the rulebook which usually is precise of other games.
It’s not a game, it’s an engine and it’s extremely strategical and tight — every decision matters, and comes at a cost. Great modularity, simplicity of rulebook, and the board contains most if not all relevant rules. Feels smart to play!
Age of Steam! But also a satire about the complete incompatibility of a capitalist healthcare system with preserving human life! 10/10!
People think it's more complicated than it really is. I enjoyed it and looking forward to buy the extensions. This one comes with zombies workaholic doctors and blood work
CAUTION! Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. It contains small parts which could be swallowed or inhaled.
