Description
Courtroom: The Noir Trilogy is a competitive team-based deduction game set in a noir atmosphere. Players divide into Prosecution and Defense and investigate the same case from opposite perspectives: they take turns selecting evidence, keeping some secret and revealing others, so each team builds their own thesis from a different combination of shared and secret information.
During the witness testimony phase, teams secretly choose what evidence to present to each witness before revealing simultaneously; each side has a limited number of objections to change the opponent's question or press a witness with an additional question. After testimonies, teams organize evidence and statements into a coherent account supporting their thesis and anticipating opposing arguments.
One speaker per team finally delivers the closing argument, evaluated by a judge from the opposing team on key case points: whoever covers more points earns victory points. Courtroom includes three independent cases, each with its own story and investigative twist.
