Love this game, really good for groups of people who love a puzzle but hate waiting their turn to play! I got the expansions when I bought it on kickstarter which definitely helps a lot with replay-ability! Would definitely recommend as a lower complexity game that’s fun for all ages

It’s Restaurant Week in Bistro Bay! Restaurants are competing in food challenges while also planning an epic meal to impress a celebrity critic. As one of 1-5 players, you’ll be sending your Chefs out into the city to gather ingredients to create amazing meals and demonstrate that your restaurant is the best in town.
Each round new random ingredients are placed in various locations throughout the city. Players simultaneously and secretly plan which locations to send their three chefs to, hoping to collect the best ingredients. Some chefs are fast, but can only gather one item, while others can carry three items, but arrive late. Rumors are also available at locations and provide guidance on what the critic desires.
Challenges, revealed in rounds 1 through 6, offer the players opportunities to earn stars for crafting dishes with specific ingredient requirements. After round 7 the players must create an epic meal to impress the celebrity critic and cater to their appetites. A multitude of different critics, rumors and restaurateurs mean every game is fresh!

I love Critter Kitchen for several reasons: Works well at all player counts because play is (mostly) simultaneous with little downtime, and the board locations scale with the number of players. The replayability once you add in the carts is great The art work is amazing The quality of the components is amazing
Great game. I've played 4 times now (5-players twice, 3-players once, and 2-players once) and it became a favorite of mine from my very first play. It scales perfectly to the number of players and it really is just as much fun playing 2-player as it is playing 5-player.
Played our first game last night after unboxing and watching the tutorial video on Youtube. We love the theme, mechanics, components, how easy it was to setup, how easy it was to learn how to play, overall great game!
I love this game. My wife loves this game. It's thinky, yet there's a bit of randomness to make it lighter. The hidden simultaneous action is a brilliant idea to reduce waiting time on other players. The components and arts are gorgeous and cute. The game is a really good value for money, even the deluxe box has every addons and extras included. I'll definitely keep an eye for Cardboard Alchemy future releases. Hopefully they will continue developing gorgeous games like this.
