Solo play feels somewhat defensive, but it’s more enjoyable than expected. During our first four-player game, it was hard to get a sense of the flow, but by the midgame we became fully immersed and it turned into a tense mind game. It’s a shame that the deck-building elements and the card text are so small.

Perfect mix of bidding/area control, hidden identity/roles, engine building, multiple endgame triggers, and beautiful artwork and presentation. Played 90 mins with 4 players, and 360 mins with 5 players (2 AP prone). Dependent on general table mood for rushing or dragging the endgame triggers.
CMON please do not listen to people complaining about a few months delay. IT IS OK. It is better to have a product tested and without problems than rushing something because someone is going to put 1's in bgg to complain about a delay.
I love it. I love deck building and area control and this has it. The players having to be on a team, but also be competitive is great. This version with the Dissidents as a whole other level. This is the definitive edition of the game for sure.
Un excellent deck-building, le savoir-faire de Martin Wallace, nouvelle réussite dans l'univers Cthulhu après Auztralia. Nombreuses cartes non vues lors d'une partie ce qui augure d'une bonne rejouabilité.
