Description
The first expansion to Cutthroat Caverns, Deeper & Darker adds fifteen new monsters to hinder your quest to escape alive with the Sacred Item of Unimaginable Marvel...which means fifteen new monsters to use against your "friends" that are trying to escape with your artifact. It also adds some impact to character choice--each now has a unique ability, usable once per game, that might give you that special push that you need to make sure that you're the one left standing with the most Prestige when the dust settles.

9.0/10
09/25/08 Really enjoy the new encounters and what they bring to the game; nice fat encounter stack will nicely stave off any feelings of "sameness" after a period of time. The character powers are great; should have been part of the base game, but what can you do? Nice expansion.
9.0/10
Adds some great new encounters and a new gameplay feature. A good game made even better.
8.5/10
More encounters, just as varied as the base set. One special ability for each character, to spice things up. This expansion does not add to playing time, as it does not introduce new attack cards or other rules.
8.2/10
A nice expansion to the base game! It simply comes with more monsters and a one time use special power for each of the base game characters.
