This little game is a blast! Very quick to play, super easy to learn, and fun little 'press your luck' filler game! I much prefer it to Zombie Dice, since this game has the benefit of player interactions, as well as some strategy to it besides 'roll or not'. Definitely worth the $20 bucks, and looking forward to getting tons of plays in with this one! The only problem I have with this game, if you can call it a problem, is that the discard pile gets shuffled nearly every player turn, so even though the cards are fantastic quality, we ended up sleeving them after only 2 games to preserve them! Not really a problem though.

Dead Man's Draw (Second Edition)
Order by 15:00 Italian time for same-day dispatch, Monday to Friday.
Delivery in Italy normally takes 1 business day, 2 for the islands.
Challenge your luck as a pirate trying to accumulate the most treasure before fortune abandons you. Draw cards from 10 different suits: accumulating different suits increases your treasure, but drawing two cards of the same suit ends your turn. A fast-paced game based on risk and luck for 2-4 players ages 13+.
The core of your turn in Dead Man’s Draw is all in the flip: pulling the top card off the deck and using its special ability. Your turn isn’t over until you say it is, though. You can keep pulling cards as long as you like – until you play a card of a suit already seen, at which point you lose everything. Knowing when to stop and "bank" your cards is the biggest decision you make in Dead Man’s Draw, but being too timid lets braver opponents pass you up with bigger, more profitable turns.
The cards’ special abilities are key to success in Dead Man’s Draw, and they build off of each other. Each suit in DMD has an effect that the player can target when they flip a card of that suit.
Anchor – Keep everything you drew before the Anchor even if you bust.
Cannon – Destroy one card an opponent has previously banked.
Chest – Double your haul by banking as many cards directly from the discard pile as are in the river when you bank the Chest – but only if you also bank a Key.
Hook – Play one of your previously banked cards.
Key – Enables the Chest special.
Kraken – Oh no! You’re forced to draw at least two more cards.
Map – Draw three cards from the discard pile and play one.
Mermaid – No ability, but worth more points (Mermaids are numbered 4-9 instead of 2-7).
Oracle – Look at the next card before deciding if you want to play it.
Sword – Steal an opponent’s previously banked card and play it.
Many of these work well together, like using a Hook to re-play a Sword from your hand to steal an opponent’s Chest to go with your Key – racking up huge points by playing abilities well and not solely through the luck of the draw.
As soon as the deck is depleted, players total up the value of the highest card they’ve banked from each suit. High score wins.

Excellent short game. Easy to explain, easy to play, and has enough variants to add when players get used to the base game. I've never played this only once after pulling it out, which speaks to its ease of play and fun factor. I own two copies in order to play with 5-8 players variant. Better art than Captain Carcass.
All the piracy in the palm of your hand. It's a simple, fast-paced, and exciting game where you must brave the dangers of the sea and be ruthless against your opponents. For a long time, I looked at this game without interest, only to stumble upon the video game. I was looking for an experience that would take me on an adventure in the Caribbean, and I never thought I'd find it in this brilliant and strategic little game, suitable for any type of player who accepts luck as part of the fun.
Fantastic, easy to learn push your luck game that plays well with 3 or 4 and by adding an additional set can comfortably handle up to 8. Lots of fun, everyone I've introduced it to has loved it. Fortune can turn on a doubloon in this game and like the song goes, you have to know when to hold and when to fold. Strongly recommended, plays fast and can be enjoyed by a wide range of skill levels, even small children. Game is marred by printing errors on the cheat card that can be found in several editions, make sure your cheat card matches the rules or isn't misprinted but that's the only thing that has ever bothered me about this game. One of my all-time favourites!
Amazing game of push your luck with interesting characters. The game stays interesting through the 50th time playing it, and I do not think that it requires any more characteristic. Man, there are 17-18 characters with different abilities. Do I have to say more?
