In DEFCON players are leaders of four superpowers in a dystopian present, called to lead their countries in a severe international crisis scenario.
The goal is to become hegemonic by the end of the 5th game round. They must achieve the best result in terms of consensus, for which both territorial expansion and international reputation are crucial.
Whoever finds the right balance between military force and public opinion support will win the game.
