Delve is an exciting dungeon adventure in Skull Cavern where players guide bands of adventurers through dangers and treasure. Combining tile-laying with immersive narrative, you must complete rooms and corridors to collect gold and riches. This is the game I wanted. Easy rules, light competition, unexpected encounters, dice battles, rooms full of gold & loot, not gory dungeon. One of the best evening games for my family. You feel wealthy and happy even when you lose. :) Two thumbs up.
The tile playing part is pretty standard. What makes this game fun, is the encounters and the combat. This game is a ton fun i highly recommend it for your next game night.
Takes a little bit to get used to the tile laying rules, but once you're moving it is a lot of fun! Empty room are never empty but rather miniature chapters of a choose-your-own-adventure book where you have to use your individual delver's stats to weigh over risks. Definitely a unique concept to build your own dungeon, Hope to see expansions on the situation cards because they are some of the best times in the game!
Played with Richard at Gameholecon and had a blast. Light hearted game where players lay down dungeon tiles as they fight/steal as much loot as they can find during their adventure. A total blast when playing with the right group.
This Carcassonne-like game spashes in RPG elements and is very interactive and enjoyable. New games every game and not too repetitive. 3 players is best as long as you don't put in treefolk - they're frikkin broken.
