A forever keeper, an ideal chill game with no competition but your high score. Nice progression, even the failed matches feel meaningful, because you have something to work towards in a Campaign. The only little nitpick might be that I'd like clearer rules with some of the Achievements. But it's manageable and doesn't matter THAT much because it's a purely solo/co-op game.

Very chill, relaxing and challenging legacy coop game, very suitable for groups of 3-4 players (in which I played). The progress-reward system feels satisfying to complete, and keeps players hungry for more every day. Achievements provide challenge, while not being too difficult or stressful to play around. It is one of the go to games to play in the morning.

A relaxing and puzzly tile-laying game with simple objectives and an awesome campaign mode that brings new possibilities to the game. Awesome for solo play. (This game is also on Steam and plays very well on the Steam Deck. I discovered the board game after playing it digitally and was pleasantly surprised at how well the board game plays.)

This game is addictive! I like that in each session (around 1h) we build a map while trying to get the highest possible score, and then we open small boxes to unlock new elements for the next game. It's one of my favorite tile-laying map-building game. Solo: The solo mode is exactly the same game, which is good. The campaign is replayable but I see it more like something you'll want to replay with a different group, and I'm not particularly excited to replay it solo. Will move to the Sakura version once I finish this one.

Fantastic, got this for my son (6y) for Christmas so we could play together (he had already played and enjoyed the computer game). This was a home run for sure. He loved it, the campaign aspect is approachable and entices replayability, not that it isn't already replayable without it.

Rippling rivers, rustling forests, wheat fields swaying in the wind and here and there a cute little village - that's Dorfromantik! The video game from the small developer studio Toukana Interactive has been thrilling the gaming community since its Early Access in March 2021 and has already won all kinds of prestigious awards. Now Michael Palm and Lukas Zach are transforming the popular building strategy and puzzle game into a family game for young and old with Dorfromantik: The Board Game. In Dorfromantik: The Board Game, up to six players work together to lay hexagonal tiles to create a beautiful landscape and try to fulfill the orders of the population, while at the same time laying as long a track and as long a river as possible, but also taking into account the flags that provide points in enclosed areas. The better the players manage to do this, the more points they can score at the end. In the course of the replayable campaign, the points earned can be used to unlock new tiles that are hidden in initially locked boxes. These pose new, additional tasks for the players and make it possible to raise the high score higher and higher.
