Even though the fame and substance of Pokemon has never interested me, there hasn't been a single time during the campaign where I wouldn't like to play for a little bit longer. Absolute joy, full to the brim yet not overwhelming. I play it duo with a non-gamer and I must say that it has been nothing but pleasant experience for the both of us. Sure, some of the errata are annoying and sure, some of the tokens could be approached differently - but it didn't hinder us from having the most important thing in playing games = FUN.

I have a lot of games with a lot of stories, but none of them pull me in like Dragon eclipse. There is always a feeling of mystery when you decide to go to a certain script and the combat is a pure strategic joy. Although it might not be the game I’m taking with me to play with friends, it’s one I’m going to love playing when it’s just me at the table.
Excellent game from Awaken Realms, finally one I can play with my 10-year-old daughter! We played through the first scenario, which was quite long as my daughter wanted to be the narrator (4-5 hours), but it had a gripping story and great gameplay that works really well in co-op mode. It kept us busy on a rainy Sunday, and we can't wait to continue the adventure!
A really good balance between combat and exploration - and both are very exciting. Opening the boosters and getting new mystlings is much more fun than previously expected. We are playing with the adventure book this time. It's very good quality, and the illustrations are beautiful. The stretch goal stories are lacking a bit.
This game surprised me, by how fun it is. In two scenarios I've played it gave me great sense of progression with choosing neutral cards and opening boosters, deckbuilding possibilities are great, combat was varied and very tactical, story was good and fun to read. I love deck construction games (where you design a deck from the pool of cards at the start of the game), but struggle with them because most of them take alot of time to get a deck going, Dragon Eclipse does this extremely well, by introducing you to new cards with good pacing, and giving you mystlings to build around. Definitely goes to my top 10.
