Dropfleet Commander Resistance Plastic Battlecruisers

The Resistance has always employed a wide range of battlecruisers, while the UCM has only recently picked up the concept. Most of these venerable ships date back to before the Scourge invasion and have survived due to their powerful mix of speed and firepower. Some of the Resistance's better-equipped forces have the ability to build new ships, as does the rebel colony of Kalium. For most Resistance admirals, true warships are precious and used sparingly, often irreplaceable resources. As the galactic conflict expands, they are finally being deployed more, some classes of which have not been seen in action since the height of humanity.

Supercruisers and grand cruisers are also appearing in greater numbers and variety, sharing some characteristics with battlecruisers, as well as updated pocket battleships. Several of these include launch masts for self-deploying surface installations, as large as skyscrapers. They were already in use before the war: another concept recently picked up by the UCM. Examples from the Resistance include scanner domes, ark landers, and the feared ICBM silos.

The package includes 2 plastic battlecruisers and 2 Dropfleet bases. Miniatures come unpainted and require assembly. The kit requires cleaning and assembly and may need to fill small holes. The clear acrylic bases require super glue and may have a blue protective film to remove.
