The game blends different mechanics and features beautiful, varied cards. Given its great replayability and solid support for up to 6 players, it's currently at the very top of our gaming group's personal list. It's also worth noting that the game has medium player conflict and doesn't take too long to play (around 3 hours for 4 players), so it never feels emotionally draining.

Dune: Imperium Uprising is a standalone spinoff to Dune: Imperium that expands on that game's blend of deck-building and worker placement, while introducing a new six-player mode that pits two teams against one other in the biggest struggle yet.
The Dune: Imperium expansions Rise of Ix and Immortality work with Uprising, as do almost all of the cards from the base game, and elements of Uprising can be used with Dune: Imperium.
The choices are yours. The Imperium awaits!

Perfect, down to the last minute detail, it just works, everything is fun about it, every game feels different, everything is so well done and balanced, the design is so elegant. The only bad thing about it is that it takes a while to set up and even longer to put it back in the box, but that's just because it refuses to be not played.
It's Dune Imperium, back with a spiced (heh) up combat system, and a touch more volatility. Game is crunchy and high interaction, and the deck building satisfying. Spies and sandworm are great additions, adding complexities without being an overbearing overhead. Uprising plays well at 3 and 4 players, but also quite a breeze to run at 1 and 2. If I wish for anything it's that the tableau gets refreshed more often, cause sometimes you might just be stuck with a row of 5-6 dead cards and only the 1 card gets cycled.
1 play and it jumped to being my favourite. Need to try the 1-2 player with ai mode and 6 player one. Probably single best combination of mechanics I have played in a board game and also incredibly satisfying to play the entire way through.
I absolutely love this game. This adds essential elements to the original game. The Spies and Sandworm mechanics are fantastic. This is the only version of Imperium that I will play now. The Digital Version is so well done also. Highly recommended and very easy to jump into a game session.
