Durian is a lively board game where players manage a fruit shop in the jungle. With 2-7 players, games last about 20 minutes and are suitable for ages 7 and up. Watch out for the gorillas that can cause trouble!

Description
Today the jungle fruit shop is busy and bustling once again. The shop's clerks, having too much to do, have started helping customers without checking the new inventory that has arrived. Even though they haven't checked the inventory, surely the other staff members have checked them already. But during all the excitement they ended up taking too many orders... When that happens, if someone rings the bell the shop manager gorilla will rush out of their office. If they find out about the over-sold orders......oh, it's too scary to think about! Watch out for the 3 gorilla siblings that are hanging around waiting to cause trouble!

A picture variation on Coyote, rather than numbers, and it works nicely. I do like the 3 special cards, but maybe they backfire by having a double function. Just slightly too complex, but it's fine. A eurogamer got too obsessed with the scoring, bothered by how it was impossible for him to win a 20 minute party game after messing up too much. Maybe the player elimination of Coyote is better for that, shutting up noisy losers.

It's hard to believe that Oink games consistently packs so much fun into such small boxes. Durian is a quick party game that will have the table buzzing after every round.

Production is A1. Evokes similar feelings to Perudo and Cockroach poker. The game is so scary it has me in fits. Love it to bits.
