10.0/10
The people who rated this game low are soft c**k euro players who don't like interacting with other humans or deal with a disaster on their tableau. Don't listen to their whining, this game is awesome fun!

Description
You’ve built empires at the game table, but can you save one? From famed designer John D Clair, Empire’s End is a reverse bidding game where you lead an empire in decline through an onslaught of disasters. Bid scarce resources to keep your empire safe from barbarians, famine and flood. Or learn from adversity, sacrificing parts of your empire to gain powerful innovations. There are multiple paths to victory, but only the most determined ruler will lead their empire into a new golden age.

Took a few minutes to learn the mechanics but the theme really carried the game. Kind of reminiscent of defcon 5 (pc game), your job is just to lose the least. Immediately ordered my own copy after playing. Would love to play with 4 people at the table.

Une ambiance de décadence qui nous tient en haleine toute la partie. Dynamique, surprenant, efficace.
