Description Description
In Evergreen, your goal is to build a lush ecosystem by planting seeds, growing trees, and placing other natural elements on your planet, trying to make it the greenest and most fertile of all.

You choose biome cards from a common pool to determine which area of your planet you'll develop in a round. The cards not chosen make those regions more fertile, and thus more valuable. To create a huge forest, you want to grow trees, plant bushes, and place lakes, while using the power of nature to gain extra actions. Ideally you can concentrate your trees in the most fertile areas, but without them overshadowing one another as you also want them to collect as much light as possible.

This game is an absolute delight. The components are both stunning and satisfying to use. I enjoy it both solo (the AI player adds just a bit of extra strategy) and at the two player count. You don’t need the expansions to enjoy the base game, but once you’ve played for a while, I’d highly recommend (if you want increased variety from different plants).

2nd hand base game... to add 2nd expansion in Advent Games order Unfortunately the game had 2 bush meeples missing, otherwise in brilliant condition. That is the potential downside of not purchasing in retail. https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/429028/evergreen-giant-trees-and-mushrooms 55 - August 2025 Exp - 35 June 2026

Evergreen is an evergreen game! The Biome card deck , is the star of the show. There is a lot to consider just to draft a card. This game is very smart. Playtime is about 45 minutes. Outstanding at the 2p count. Can be played solo also. Evergreen is infinitely replayable and that is priceless! Only downside is a confusing rulebook.

Fell in love after one play. Top 10 of my games instantly. Have played with the wife several times and it is always welcome at the table. Highly recommend. Simple and easy with plenty of strategy!!
