I am just blown away by the game and the worldbuilding in Expeditions. Now THIS is a game that the Jakub Rozalski's art deserves! Surprisingly more complex than it looks on the surface. Personally speaking, by far a better game than Scythe - super streamlined, super fun deckbuilding, and most importantly - it evokes the theme and the setting very strongly. Just allow yourself to immerse in it and you, like me, won't stop thinking about it.

I played this solo and enjoyed it far more than regular Scythe. I just dislike the size of the box, which doesn't play nice with Kallax shelves. *Revised*: I've been playing it all week after adding the Gears of Corruption expansion. It elevated Expeditions from a very good game to a great game.
An incredible game! This is the game I first encountered multi-use cards, and I learned quickly I love the mechanic. Moving the mechs on the map is so satisfying. Just wish it had a slightly smaller footprint.
Another fantastically intricate but digestible game from Stonemaier Games! It serves very well as a spiritual successor to Scythe, incorporating some of Scythe’s iconic mechanics while remaining very fresh and innovative. 10/10!
The Gears of Corruption expansion refines and completes the base game. I strongly recommend the expansion if one enjoys the base game. The game is primarily a multiplayer solitaire game of managing resources and finding synergies. And there are many games in that genre. But Expeditions manages to stand apart with the grand table presence of its game board, the spatial element of area hexes, exploration through discovery of hexes, and unique way of blending card drafting and worker placement.
