Description
A reserved man, a cultured writer, a storyteller: which traits of De Andre' do we find in his poetry? And which, instead, best reflects his private dimension? To reveal the man beyond the public figure, Sassi and Pistarini have collected forty years of interviews and long conversations in which, away from the spotlight, De Andre' unravels the knots of his personality. In these conversations, which sometimes almost have the flavor of a confession, the great Genoese singer-songwriter talks about private matters, such as his relationship with Sardinia (from the place of his kidnapping to a newfound serenity) to his impatience with singing performances, Sanremo first and foremost, and much more.
