Description
Mount Hikami was once revered as a sacred place where a unique religion was taught. It is believed that the water of this mountain hosts spirits, and in this region it is said that "humans are born from water and return to it at the end of life." For this reason, "those who seek death" come to the mountain and spend their last moments in contact with its waters, convinced it is the right way to end life.
Several peculiar rituals and customs still persist on the mountain, and many strange and unfortunate events are said to have occurred there.
The story is set on Mount Hikami, considered a sacred place, and revolves around Yuri Kozukata, Ren Hojo, and Miu Hinasaki, the three protagonists whose stories intertwine in this mysterious and dreamlike tale.
