Description
Fractured Sky is a game of deduction, sneaky strategy, and resource management set on a fantastical island. Players lead their kingdom in the hunt for shards of fractured falling stars, which are rumored to grant wishes to those that can amass enough of them.
Using airships, players send their armies to regions with the star shards, but finding those is not always easy and hiring seers to predict their falls can be worth the investment. Over time, players will increase their presence on the island, placing permanent buildings to give them advantages like extra resources or increasing the size of their troop numbers.
Only one wish will be granted, so who will amass the most shards before the final star falls?

I must say that Fractured Sky is a complete surprise. My friends and I played it last Wednesday and were immediately struck by the gorgeous artwork, which looks fantastic in photos. Even though the learning curve was a bit steep, the refreshing theme and interesting mechanics made it worth the effort. Interestingly, our most strategic player ended up with the least Starfalls, while the one who hadn't fully grasped the game became the ultimate winner. I especially appreciated the final round's mission card—it felt like a warm reward for the players who weren't doing as well (honestly, that was me). What an unexpected joy! I absolutely love this game; it’s truly unique.

Got my copy last week and have played it a few times since at various player counts. Highly recommend for anyone seeking secret bidding, resource management, secret objectives, and area majority. Every round gives me a fun sense of anxiety to do as much as possible but without being too slow (missing out on 1st player in turn order)

Fantastic game! constantly engaging due to the nature of the game and required strategy. every game played is unique and strategies must adjust to maintain competitiveness from round to round

First play through was a bit of trial and error/ hit and miss.... but every play after that has been absolutely superb!!! One of the best games we've played in our group. The element of bluffing and deciept and tactics that you didn't even know were there make this game so much fun! To go all in and ensure a public starfall; or spred out in the hope to gain two hidden ones? Just a brilliant concept to a gain!
