Garibaldi Risorgimento - Parte 1

A hero from a bygone time. A noble bird that brings him back to life. A boy seeking revenge in decadent 1990s Italy. From the creative mind of Andrea Guglielmino, already the author of "Garibaldi vs. Zombies", comes "Garibaldi Risorgimento", an epic and intense comic story, raw, dark and noir, divided into two parts. Besides paying homage to the established figure of the hero of two worlds, it also pays tribute to another icon of contemporary comics and cinema. The story is set in 1990s Rome, a period of great political and social unrest and the time when a film was released that would later become a cult classic. Libero and Italia are two siblings, two young teenagers dealing with the changes and turmoil of their era, as well as with adolescence. Libero is shy and introverted, and a great admirer of Giuseppe Garibaldi and the Risorgimento, while Italia, with her dark-gothic look, was so struck by that film that she wears makeup like its protagonist. Although very different, the two are deeply united, but a catastrophic event will tear their lives apart forever...
