Golden Journal is the supplement series that brings small extras to Avalanche Press games, with an issue similar to a small magazine and a set of finely cut counters.
In 1926, the US Navy commissioned two enormous rigid airships capable of housing a hangar inside to operate aircraft: Akron and Macon, in service respectively with the Atlantic and Pacific fleets before crashing at sea in 1933 and 1935.
Flying Carriers is entirely dedicated to these majestic flying aircraft carriers: Akron, Macon, the sister ships never built, the ZRCV project, and the great airship of the Japanese Imperial Navy. The supplement provides counters and scenarios to use with Second World War at Sea: Java Sea and Midway Deluxe Edition.
