Game tickles the part of your brain that craves that dopamine hit when you get rewarded for every action you take, spending 1 resources leads to another and so on. There's probably a meta that can be found but so far it feels fairly flexible in which route to take

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A great puzzly game in which you attempt to build the greatest roman fort along Hadrian's Wall. The game is enganging and very replayable, although might put off first time players due to its large player sheets. Its replayabality stems from the different routes to victory and its variable set up at the beginning of each round. Players need to adapt while also attempt to get a cascade of effects going. Can sometimes feel luck dependend. Great fun solo!

This is a game that has quickly become a "go-to" within my collection. I love it and all the spreadsheet goodness it brings. Theming is good, and the puzzly nature of it all definitely pushes you to give it another go and see how much better you can do on the next game.

My top x&write game among the ones i ve played. Campaign offered in their website makes it a 10 because you have to use all the game's elements.

Surprisingly fun. Even though it's VP based, you feel like you're expanding your economy and protecting your village. There are so many options, so much to do. The solo campaign is also good.
