The rules are simple but there is so much strategy that can go into playing, so it's great to teach new people and great to play with experienced players. Additionally, the theme feels so spot on with limited, context-based communication. The satisfaction of someone understanding what I was trying to tell them, and the few times I've gotten a perfect score will keep me coming back to this game again and again.
We always love playing this. The luck factor is there, and sometimes it's just difficult to navigate when higher number cards are out. All in all, we think it's a great game, havent played with the rainbow variant yet.
Pros : • Original concept of seeing other players’ cards but not your own • Variant with multicolored cards makes the game easier or harder • Popularized limited-communication co-op games, my favorite type of co-op Cons : • Frustrating when a player misunderstands a clue given by another • A card holder is essential • Requires good memory to keep track of the clues Conclusion : An elegant cooperative game that works well with the right group of players.
Un de mes jeux préféré ! Un jeu de déduction a communication limitée, qui oblige a developper des codes avec son partenaire. Un jeu assez complice :) Facile a sortir, facile à comprendre, très agréable à jouer, et plutot joli malgré sa simplicité. Nous y jouons plusieurs fois par semaine. Meilleur à deux, max trois joueurs.
Interesting co-op game where people try to complete suits of cards by giving each other clues, the communication is limited but these limitations are well defined, the game remains interesting after being figured out, leaving you with a neat puzzle where luck may play a role in the maximum score you're able to get each game.
