A very nice game with a touch of role playing games... also good for kids who are not old enough for Pen&Paper RPGs

this expansion adds plenty of good stuff for the base game including allowing a fifth player into the mix. if you like fantasy card game with a little resemblence to RPG, then this might be great for you.

Having finally played this expansion I can definitely say that it adds A LOT to the basic game. There are Heroes, that offer additional possibilities, new spells, new Adventures, Markets, and new Artifacts. It makes the game playable with up to 5 persons. Having played several times with 5 persons I can say, it really works great with 5 persons. The game gets longer, but also more fullfilling! Now it is a real "complete" boardgame, not just a small Adlung game, the sum of it adds up to a newer better game. Bravo!

A must have if you like the base game. Adds a little something here and there (landscapes and heroes, new artifacts), making it longer and slightly more complex.
