For generations, the forest has been ruled by the Great Tree City of Erlenherz by the Birdfolk. However, after Humblewood prospered thanks to the hard work and dedication of its inhabitants, came the fires and chaos. Flames destroy the land and the home of the Groundlings. This leads to bitterness towards the Birdfolk, as their perches have been spared from the worst. Hatred burns in the hearts of those who have lost their beloved way of life - peaceful people have turned away from the law. Those who are dissatisfied turn their gaze towards Erlenherz and threaten to turn an age of growth and peace into ash. But there is still hope. Even in these dark times, there are brave heroes in the forest. Only they can extinguish the raging flames that fall upon the land and restore the balance of the realm. You are one of them.
