I've gotten more and more skeptical of the value of expansions for games, but gotta say, this one works perfectly, with zero clunk and lots of excitement. The theming is pitch-perfect, especially Lobelia Sackville-Baggins!

Great transition from symmetrical gameplay to asymmetrical gameplay that adds complexity and changes the risk and reward of revealing cards. Best expansion I’ve ever tried for a duel game and I’ve played nearly all of them (7wd, etc)
