A Journey To Rhosgobel is the third Adventure Pack in the Shadows of Mirkwood Cycle for The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game! After facing a fearsome group of trolls, the heroes have pressed further into the Anduin Valley to continue their search for Gollum. However, when they stumble across a dying eagle wounded in a fight with goblins, they are compelled to offer their assistance.
During their search for Gollum, the heroes must take a detour in order to save a valuable ally. Since the Eagles play such an important role in the Shadows of Mirkwood Adventure Packs, players will want to retain the trust of their winged allies by saving one of their kin. In order to do so, they must bring the bird to Rhosgobel and seek out the wizard Radagast, who knows many secrets of the wild.
A Journey to Rhosgobel contains 60 fixed cards from the Shadows of Mirkwood cycle. In this exciting expansion, even more Eagles join the Tactics sphere, while Leadership players are given a Dúnedain Quest that will inspire confidence in their cause. However, the sky grows dark with foul minions of the Shadow, and every step toward Rhosgobel causes the heroes’ avian ally more pain. There is no time to lose!

Difficult to win the game solo. Need a lot of fighting and healing, felt the best combination Lore + Tactics but missed the Stuart of Gondor for extra resources!! In solo the required objectives are very hard to get as they appear too often as shadow card and get lost in the discard pile and insufficient time and heal to go through the encounter deck a second time.

Wow. What a multi-dimensional and varied scenario. I love it when you have to take care about the different aspects of the adventure. Not knowing how the scenario will unfold (i.e. more/less (specific kind of) enemies, more/less wounds from treacheries, finding/not finding Athelas herbs etc.) is a big plus for me too. This way each play can be different. After more plays: I'm not so thrilled as at first. It seems that in every deck you need Lore (and 'Lore of Imladris'). That narrows down your options. And the pressure of wounds mounting on Wilyador overshadows the variety of other difficulties.

Harmadikra lett csak meg, de az első próbálkozás még csak említésre sem volt méltó. :D Nagyon hangulatos, izgalmas küldetés, és persze ha már megvan az ellenszer, könnyűnek is tűnik. Persze sok múlik a húzásokon, mint mindig, de így minden próbálkozás más és más... Fantasztikus ez a játék. :)
