This new edition includes 40 brand new cards, plus the cards from Jungle Speed and Jungle Speed: The Extreme Expansion (200 cards total), with a wooden totem and a metal box.
It is a skill game, with a minimum of two players and a maximum of eighty (the logic allows for the maximum number of people that can fit around the table), an easy to learn, fast and fun game, suitable for anyone who can turn a card and pick up an object.
It is said that the game was invented 3000 years ago by the Aboulou tribe living in subtropical Spidopotamia. This noisy tribe, greedy for monkey bones, used eucalyptus leaves instead of cards. They could contend for hours over the remains of their loot, and the game often ended in bloody fights because the cards were all the same. For this reason, the game remained unknown until that lucky day at the end of the 200th century when Tom and Jako invented the playing card.
Setting up Jungle Speed is very simple, just place the Totem in the middle of the game table (preferably round) and shuffle the cards, distributing them all face down among the players in a clockwise direction. The game works like this: each player takes turns flipping a card from their stack, and if two or more cards are the same, the owning players must grab the Totem as quickly as possible. The loser takes their discard cards and those of the winner and places them under their stack. If a player mistakenly grabs the Totem or knocks it over, they take all their discard cards and those of the other players and place them under their stack. The game ends when only two players have cards in front of them!
The game is simple and fun. Great for large groups. The first to finish does not risk getting bored; it is one of the few games that is nice to look at too!
