Your king has chosen you to take charge of a province on the border: you will manage your province and help defend the realm. To accomplish this, you must influence the King’s Advisors and the Royal Family to obtain gold, wood, stones, and soldiers to expand and defend your lands. But you are not the only governor seeking the aid of the advisers! The other players also seek to collect the best resources for their own territories. A good time rolling dice and placing them on the board for resources or points. We added some modules which spiced it up even more. Really love this game but it plays best at 4 so we don't get to play it as much as I wish.

Christmas gift 2018 to me. Family played for the first time last night; seemed to like it ok One of the more requested games during game nights with our older youth at church. the guys like it a lot.

Kingsburg is to Dice Placement to me what's Caylus is to Worker placement. An easy to learn, hard to master, great feeling and infinite gameplay experience that everyone should have. Great game.

Probably my favorite game. Leads to constant tough decisions in order to increase your defense, provide powers, etc. against incoming foes. A very cool worker-placement game.
