Description

Klong! Gold and Silk is an expansion for Klong!. To play, the base game is required. An expansion that adds a new double-sided board with new opportunities and dangers. Players can spend talents in the dwarves' mine to extract gold and use the elevators on the sides of the board to move quickly. The construction of the Spider Queen is full of webs that can bring victory points to the players or hinder them until they are cut. The Spider Queen also has treasures such as gold, healing, boots, and swords available to the players. Game contents: 1 double-sided game board, 55 markers, 1 market board, 1 spider figure, 4 thief figures, 1 rulebook.

This is a great expansion to the Clank! universe! The gold mining map on one side and the spider web map on the other side are both great, and the gameplay is so different, that it almost feels like two expansions for the price of one! My only complaint, is that I would have enjoyed some unique cards for this expansion and/or a unique monster to fight like the first two expansions had. Hopefully they come out with a Gold & Silk II which has these additional components.

You just can't go wrong with more Clank! boards. Kind of glad it didn't come with more cards since I have quite the collection of them as is and sometimes wonder if the amount of cards we have is starting to effect how easy the games are becoming to not ever really be in too much trouble of getting knocked out. Dragon attacks don't happen as often. Definitely a lot of fun as usual.

all expansions of all games should be like this. it adds simple few new rules, it creates variety , it is cheap and keep useful the base game
