This is another banger from Kanger! I own three of his games and each one is a distinct joy to play. La Primogentia offers an outstanding experience with the unique order system that gives each side a flavorful and narrative engagement that prioritizes a thoughtful strategy combined with fog of war. I soloed the game and had a blast! I can't wait to play face to face. This is a wonderfully designed and developed iteration of a hex and counter game. It's such a DELIGHT to play! Highly, highly recommend it.

Lo he jugado con un compañero y me parece genial la mecánica de chits de ordenes
Game with an interesting dynamic of Chits of Orders for activation, it gives a lot of replayability and strategic depth to the decision making to plan the actions to be performed in the game. The English player has superiority in the level and quality of the combat forces, but will have to advance quickly to achieve his victory points in the set time limits, and will have to watch and plan in detail the supply of his troops in his advance. The Italian troops are of lower quality but have the advantage of better supplies and should slow down and disrupt the British advance, saving losses.
Overall this is a winner from one of my favorite designers. LP has: * an innovative and thematic order system; this is no IGO/UGO game, * a rarely (if ever by anyone besides Kanger) addressed battle, * typical Legion Wargames top-notch production values. The Brits are launching an all-out assault that needs to move quickly before the larger North African theater demands materiel and attention. The Italians are conducting a defensive withdrawal that utilizes the rugged terrain.
This is a great game. Games based on battles are not my favorite (I like large operational games) but this game has a lot going for it. The Orders system is one of the highlights of the game and very innovative. It has a very chit pull system without the chit pull. The rules are clear, pretty easy to follow.the game flows well and is only 10 turns. The downside isn’t a lot of variability and I don’t know if they replay ability is very high.
