In La Valle dei 12 Fiumi you will lead your tribe along waterways in search of precious colored pearls. You must carefully plan where to send your explorers, anticipate the river flow, and gather the best resources before others. An elegant worker placement and resource collection game where every choice changes the course of the game, just like water flowing downstream.

Each round you decide where to place explorers along the rivers. Upstream grants access to the best pearls but at a higher cost; midstream offers bonuses; downstream gives more choices, but will the pearls you want remain? You can also stay in the village to recruit new tribe members. Every placement is a crucial decision between risk, resources, and timing.

The most fascinating moment comes when pearls are released and start flowing down the rivers. Blocking them at the right time with your markers is key to obtaining the most valuable ones, while others continue downstream into opponents' hands.

The collected pearls are not only for scoring: you must deliver them to villagers to gain bonuses and fulfill specific objectives. Along the way, you can also gain the help of fairies and complete alpaca-related goals, creating ever-changing combinations. After five rounds, the player who planned best and seized every opportunity will lead their tribe to victory.
