Legacy: Forbidden Machines
Order by 15:00 Italian time for same-day dispatch, Monday to Friday.
Delivery in Italy normally takes 1 business day, 2 for the islands.
Legacy: Forbidden Machines is an expansion that enriches Legacy: Gears of Time with a new set of technology cards. It introduces the "Activation" mechanism: the player with the most influence on these technologies can activate them once per turn, creating powerful effects such as drawing extra cards, exchanging influence cubes, gaining additional turns, and much more. It expands the strategies of the base game while maintaining the same simplicity of the system.

:) Much improved over the base game :) Full of wacky powers :) Lots to think about :) Removes awful events from base :soblue: Even more AP inducing than the base :soblue: Super steep learning curve :soblue: Sometimes a card just won't ever show up, sinking your whole game
Wow! Definite improvement over the basegame. The new activation abilities add an entire layer of depth to the game without making it more complicated, and the removal of the fate cards is a welcomed idea and well compensated for.
A very good update to an excellent game. FM swaps out all of the original cards, so it's really a new game that reuses the board from Gears of Time. FM is a bit more complicated due to added mechanics, and also more challenging due to more intertwined technologies. I would recommend this to relatively experienced Legacy players only, but for them it is highly recommended!
For a while (until getting it out to play it, finally), I forgot that Forbidden Machines doesn't just swap imaginary technologies in to replace the real technologies, so I just wasn't feeling much motivation to get it out. Once I did, I was reminded that there are now "When established" triggers on some of the new techs, and technology activations you can do on some of them. This greatly enhances the already-tough decisions. For a slightly lighter game, play the base game's cards; for a slightly heavier game, play these.
