Legend of the Five Rings: Set of Cards (7)

I watched videos about this game and wasn't interested, but I was desiring a game with this theme and found it cheap, so I went for it, and fell in love with this game on the very first turn. It's gorgeous and artistically consistent throughout; it has thematic gravity; the play is fun, thoughtful and engaging; it's highly collectible and expandable; it's had it's full run, so you know what's available, and it's left quite a legacy, to be sure. Proud and excited to own it!

IMO the best dueling card game. The only problem was it is no where as commercially successful as the heavy hitters in the genre, but mechanically the game is brilliant. Very thematic for a dueling card game as well with very little luck. There is no land screw issue in this game. Only wish I had more people to play it with.

3x Core Sets All Clan Packs All Cycles All Expansions This game just gets better the more I play it. Such a unique game with an immense amount of depth without feeling convoluted. Massively underrated and highly recommend. One of my favourite games. UPDATE 03/10/25: finally tracked down the final expansion pack after searching for ages! (Crimson Offering) I have now completed the entire set!

The best competitive LCG from FFG. Smart gameplay ! Deckbuilding is very interesting and the Imperial laws cardlist makes this game very balanced. A great great card game that every cardgame should try !

Love the re-make of the old ccg. it has a great tactical edge to it for a card game and has some great competitive support.
