June 18, 1940: German troops march down the Champs-Élysées. Witnessing this heartbreaking scene filled with anger and outrage, you decide to act. In LIBERATION, you play as a Resistance member forming a group of fighters to face the occupying forces. Recruit your agents, build your network to complete missions, hinder Nazi and collaborationist police forces, and mobilize the population. Through 5 scenarios, forge the victory that will allow France to rise again and lay the foundations for a new society (CNR). Be warned, the path will be full of dangers; you will lose comrades, face defeats, and encounter betrayals. Will you be able to simultaneously complete the required missions, hinder the police and military apparatus, avoid atrocities, and earn the essential victory points for the final battle: The Liberation of Paris? Liberation is an asymmetric deck-building game playable in campaign mode (non-legacy). The occupying forces have many resources at their disposal and will face a united resistance. Join the fight against the occupying forces in France during World War II.
