Liberty!
Liberty! immerses you in the heart of the American Revolution, one of history's most compelling conflicts. A wargame where politics, economics, and ideals clash on the battlefield. Discover how faith and great doctrines were tested in the Age of Reason, when a new world order was born.
The game is coming soon
Wargame by GMT Games on the American War of Independence, a conflict in which the Ancien Régime, New World, and indigenous nations clashed across oceans, forests, cities, and frontier.
War has been defined in many ways: the continuation of politics by other means, the locomotive of history, or hell. Whatever the definition, it is a spectacle, and in that of the American Revolution — for its cosmopolitan character and its hold on the imagination — few conflicts have matched it. Faith and great doctrines were put to the test in the Age of Reason, when politics, economics, and science were re-examined and protests arose against the constraints of a still-vigorous social order. What began as a vindication of English rights transformed into a movement for independence. A learned debate — "Who would give up an essential liberty to purchase a little temporary security deserves neither liberty nor security," "If this be treason, make the most of it" — led to a trial by arms; yet a third of the inhabitants of the American colonies only asked to be left alone, to live a common life as it had always been lived.
