Awesome hero with the right deck. Really powerful and fun to play. Her nemesis Dark Phoenix is brutal though.

Played twice, both times against Sabertooth. I really like what they've done with Phoenix: the alternate loss condition, her Unleashed form, psionic control of minions, etc.

I play Phoenix almost like a boss with two phases. The first phase is all about controlling the board and setting yourself up for an unleashed/burn phase where you do monster damage. Once she's unleashed, Psychic Blast and Telepathic Trickery are insane for only 2 cost. She can even mind control minions which is a lot of fun! Outside of Phoenix-specific cards, Marvel Girl is a good Justice ally. Mission Training is a great upgrade for X-men allies.

Relies around managing the counters on her Phoenix Force to switch between Thwarting and Attacking. She's good, but she's slightly more complex to play.
