As the game’s seventh campaign expansion, Age of Apocalypse brings a number of classic X-Men characters to the table, including two new playable heroes, Bishop and Magik, each of whom comes with a pre-built deck ready to play from the get-go. Face off against the forces of Apocalypse, the X-Men’s greatest and most powerful foe. This expansion includes five brand-new scenarios, each of which can be played individually or as part of a larger campaign.

Great campaign, but both Magik and Bishop are some of the best Heroes introduced in a campaign expansion period. Magik is my #1 go to Heroes.

Magic and Bishop are fantastic. Unus has a great gimmick. The four Horsemen are terrifying. Both versions of Apocalypse are great. Dark Beast was a let down.

I haven't played the campaign yet, but I've played Magik twice. First impressions: interesting, a bit thinky, as she plays with the top card of her deck face-up, and some of her abilities rely upon the resource that's currently showing on the top. She gets a discount on that card, and can play it as if it were in her hand. She also can swap that card with a card in her hand if she plays a specific card.
