Description Description

In Marvel: Remix, you assemble a team of famous heroes and allies, strengthening them with powerful equipment and maneuvers while visiting well-known locations and taking on notorious villains.
Everyone receives seven cards in hand, representing characters, items, or locations from the entire Marvel universe. In each round, you draw a card from the Remix or villain deck or take one of the cards your opponents have discarded before you discard a card yourself.
Get ready for a unique, epic battle of superheroes!
Marvel: Remix is based on the award-winning game Fantastische Reiche, also by Bruce Glassco, which was nominated for Game of the Year in 2021!

What makes the game special? / Why is it published by Strohmann Games? Fantastische Reiche in the world of Marvel Comics!!!

The game uses the basic principle of Fantastische Reiche but has some key differences. Among other things, cards can be transformed and improved, for example, to turn Tony Stark into Iron Man.

Even better than the original Fantasy Realms because the card effects are easier to understand and thematic too. The icons are more interconnected, meaning you don’t have to dig into the deck to find something that interacts with your cards. The graphic design is simple to follow.

I would say top 10 supplanting fantasy realms. I don’t think it needs an expansion, but it be interesting to see additional combos.

So much better than Fantasy Realms. Theme and art can make a huge difference. Excellent solo variant in the forum.

Really enjoy Marvel Remix. I was never drawn to Fantasy Realms because of the theme and it seemed that scoring was a little too complicated. Really like the Marvel twist on the original game. Scoring is pretty easy to the point where I would say that I would never use a scoring app if they had one. Would love to see an expansion at some point!

Not sure yet whether this is better or worse than Fantasy Realms, but early thoughts are that this isn't quite as good. It's still an interesting and fun card game. --It's not as good, but it is simpler to score, teach, and understand, meaning it's easier to bring out.
