Plays fast, lots of tricky choices, excellent choice anytime, and my preferred 5-player game.

My favorite game. It's a game that I love introducing to new players as well as competing with those more experienced. In the first act, you're trying to decide what to commit to. In the second, it's about how you're going to pull ahead in the lanes you've chosen without losing sight of the bottom line. In the third, every card flip is so consequential as who wants what is so crystal clear. It's such a fun arc and never fails to put a smile on my face.

Medici is the perfect game in my opinion. Consistent playtime, highly interactive, dynamic, few rules, full of tension and engaging on every single turn.

An outstanding bartering game that is charged with a whiff of push-your-luck. Plays great at all player counts 3 or more, and will really drag in anyone with a competitive streak.
