The game is coming soon
Medici Traders is a tile game set in 15th century Florence, in the spirit of the classic Medici. Players acquire the most valuable goods and stow them on their ships. Players simultaneously draw goods tiles, up to 3 per tray, then the trays go to the center of the table. The first player chooses one, possibly adding florins to strengthen their claim. Subsequent players can take a free tray (placing florins) or outbid the florins already placed on a claimed tray and take it: the previous player retrieves the florins. This continues until each player has a tray. The spent florins go to the bank and the goods are loaded onto the ship. The ships have multiple levels — one for each day (turn) — and an upper deck for special goods. This repeats until the 7 spaces of the day's level are full. At the end of the day, points are awarded to those with the most valuable goods on the current level and to those with the most pieces of each type of goods on the ship.
