In the tile-placement, mine-building game Mines of the Sacred Dragon, players take turns building mines or expanding existing mines in order to score victory points (VPs). When a player has 0-1 mine tokens remaining or the draw pile is depleted, the game ends after the final player has finished his turn.

Players then score points – one VP for each solitary mine, with extra points for connecting mines – and the player with the most points wins. In case of a tie, the player with the larger set of connecting mines wins; if tied again, the tied player who took the later turn wins.

Works well with 2 players, and becomes a different game with more players. I have now played with 2, 3, 4, and 5 different players. The more players, the more flexible you will need to be. Currently the promo, and expansions 1 and 2 are mixed in as well. It is a quick/easy game to pick up and play. Those who enjoy using their conceptual spacing skills, will enjoy this game. Box also holds the tiles nicely, if you flip the inner cardboard divider.
