You are a Scrapper - also known as a Scrap Rat. The galaxy is your rust-scoured, ill-tempered, electrified oyster. 

Scrap Rats is a book about the dangers of space, the horrific nature of alien entities, the bond between crews and, of course, death. Lots and lots of character deaths. You play a band of squishy meat bags whose only goal is to make money. To do this, you will go to far away planets, space stations, shipwrecks, and everything in between in search of the most holy of rewards: scrap. Along the way you’ll lose friends, a ship or two, and a whole lot of blood, sweat, and tears but if you’re lucky, you’ll make friends and a whole truckload of credits.
