Mutants in the Now is a retromodern role-playing game that revisits classic mutant animal RPGs. Players take on mutant animals from over a hundred species — from tiny worms to whales — fighting to survive, thrive, and improve the world for themselves and humanity.
The system allows creating unique characters by combining species, combat styles, psionic powers, and distinctive backgrounds: from street techniques of Jailhouse Rock to telekinetic enhancement, up to the role of defender of a secret enclave. Adventures range from city streets to Earth's orbit, in a modern world where shadows hide corporate conspiracies, ninjas, and extradimensional threats.
This revised edition includes eight pages of errata.
