Getting better each time I play it. Lots of decisions, beautiful artwork and comes with a lot of details and surprises. Very thematic and a fast setup makes this game a pearl.

That is by far the best solo game I ever played, that fits into one box. Don't listen to people that curse the luck factor. You will lose maybe 1 out of 15 tests, if you play correctly.

Played it 12 times (solo) on Officer difficulty. Played motives Explore, Adventure, World order and War! The dicerolls can give you strange twists, but you're able to get enough options to modify. Love the game !

First modern board game I played and it was a blast! I have played through 5 of the 8 Motives and each time out is like a new experience. Very high replay value with all of the added content and different difficulty adjustments. Plenty of opportunities to cover unlucky dice rolls or recover when they do happen -- plenty of strategy and depth involved. Only negative is that it is a long setup time in preparing the deck and all materials. You get faster with it but, it's not a quick game by any means (for setup or tear down).

I adore this game. I love how it looks on the table, how tactile it is, the intricacy of graphic design, the pastel collors of illustrations, the iconography, the tensions, the descisions, the risk, the story it tells. Absolutely amazing all the way through.
