Orloj: The Prague Astronomical Clock is a beautifully crafted, richly themed Eurogame that blends strategic depth with visual splendor. Its rotating rondel mechanic is clever and thematic, acting like an ever rotating rondel and with the combo driven engine it's mechanical exactly what you want from a game about building a medieval masterpiece.

Mecánicas maravillosas. Mucha rejugabilidad. Temático y muy bello tablero. Componentes bien desarrolladas.

A lot of fun, gorgeous board and delightful theme. Loads of possibilities with multiple opportunities to bump up your score. It’s somewhat large, and I don’t have a big space, so I had to get creative with the game arrangement, and also keep parts that are refreshed/changed in a divided container nearby. However that did not affect the fun of the game at all.

I can’t find anything here to fault. The game doesn’t try to wow you with a totally unique take on the effiency puzzle Eurogame. It is exactly that, a wonderfully smooth and clear design, in a gorgeous and pretty much perfect production for a great price. However, I wouldn’t want to play this with AP prone players.
