Paint the Town Red RPG Floating Underworld (GDR)

While the mortals are busy hacking each other to pieces, we can throw one hell of a party. Part of the original Paint the Town Red crowdfunding campaign, Floating Underworld moves your vampires to the city of Edo in 1857. Written by Hipolita, this adventure is presented as an envelope featuring an A2 map, a set of location cards and a zine. The future of Japan is being decided as Imperialist and Pro-Shogunate factions clash on the battlefield. In Edo, a whirlpool of courtly intrigue is fed by old and reactionary vampires who simply do not care about the petty squabbles of mortals. Your vampires might run into the undead historian Oniyuri, cataloguing the myriad romances of the dead, or Dame Komachi, who can ruin an aristocratic family with a word. Who is this for? Players looking for a unique setting for their nightly revels, or who need to put at least a continent worth of distance between them and their problems. The Edo period is extremely colourful, and can provide a striking contrast to the medieval and early modern settings found elsewhere in Paint the Town Red.
