Panda Spin
Panda Spin is a quick and strategic board game where your goal is to discard your cards faster than your opponents. Its core mechanic transforms defeats into advantages: when you lose a hand, your cards return to play rotated 180 degrees and even more powerful. This unique twist means that winning the final victory often requires losing the right hand at the right time. Perfect for 2-5 players ages 14+, with games lasting around 25 minutes.

Description
Legend tells of a panda sitting among bamboo plants, munching on leaves with delight and spinning on itself every time it finished them. Gazing at the starry sky, it felt the need to join the 12 animals of the zodiac: thus Panda Spin was born.
The game's objective remains to discard your cards faster than your opponents by winning hands. But there's a unique twist: if you lose a hand, you can create an advantage for yourself, because the cards return to your hand rotated 180 degrees and stronger. In this game, the path to victory often requires losing the right hand at the right time!

Totally addicted to this game --> The cards returning to your hand give off the same satisfying feeling as upgrading your jokers in Balatro and it has a very strong "one more hand" vibe to it. love the strategy that goes into planning your hand, deciding which cards you might want to spin in order to create better melds and which cards you just need to get rid of. Getting the perfect sequence where you spin a card, use the fire symbol to burn a card, and then shed out with a bomb is just too fun. I love how each "suit" has a distinct flavour that will effect the feel of each game. The expansion is pretty good too. Must play at 2!

Addicting Haggis/Crisps killer excellent at 2P. I would never have guessed this was a Chudyk game—perhaps I need a few more plays to see the lineage.
9.1/10
Initial score. Plan to play more on BGA. But overall really glad to see Carl doing more stuff away from Asmadi. The development team over there has really been on a slump with his last few releases. The new innovation has lost all of its cohesiveness and Aegean Sea has some good ideas but was developed into a now common Cieslik mess of randomness for randomness sake.

Only one play right now but this game is an absolute banger. In a lot of ways it feels like Carl Chudyk mastering multi-card use: simple rule set with lots of strategic depth as you start grasping the subtleties of the mechanics.
